Oliver Harris founded Do Good Comedy formally in 2014. He loves stand up comedy. Ever since he first listened to Robin Williams on bFM's Slightly Silly Show. It took a long time for him to gather his courage up to get on stage. He reached the semi-finals of RAW Quest and hasn't looked back.
He also loves to help out people in the community. He made an offer to help arrange a comedy night for Warkworth Hockey Turf while he was a teacher in Warkworth. This event was a massive success. Bringing together a show including some of NZ's rising stand up comedy talent and experienced professionals was a great thrill.
This lead Oliver to think of other groups he could assist. The more he looked, the more groups he saw could benefit from a comedy night fundraiser. He soon realised most organisations were not experienced in putting together a show and started to design packages that support making the event the best it possibly can be.
Looking to the future Do Good Comedy is looking to reach out to a wider range of organisations and assist them with their fundraising needs.
